So, how did this all started? I guess my dear friend Julia is to blame for it. Almost a year ago she went to Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, to work for Goethe Institut. It was clear that I will visit her while she was there and that she will come back somehow. But who would have thought that we are about to embark on an adventure of a lifetime.
A train trip from Tashkent to Berlin.
The adventure does not only start with boarding a plane to fly to Tashkent but even all the preparation for it is as adventurous as a trip through the jungle… or else.
In the end I will have three visas, several train tickets, a fortune less and a lot of negotiation experience. But most important of all the best journey so far.
